One unit at a time….
Skills4Stem Flexi-Learn will allow you to complete the traditional Pearson Education HNC units one-by-one at your pace.
When the economy returns to the new normal post COVID-19 you may choose to continue with the same time commitment or wait and complete your chosen remaining units during quieter business/personal periods or during your annual leave – the choice is yours!
You will have up to 5 years from starting the programme to complete your HNC in full.
Pay As You Go
We have tried to make sure in these tough financial and uncertain times that we can enable you to just pay as you go, one unit at a time (Plus one-off Pearson registration fees at the beginning of your programme).

Time Commitment
Start working towards your distance learning HNC in Construction and the Built Environment today, just one unit at a time. We recommend that you take 4-6 weeks learning (Excluding assessment time) per unit if you are studying part-time, however if you are furloughed and wishing to commitment 20+hours a week to studying you could finish the units sooner.
Please note: Assignments are released at the end of the learning for each unit and candidates will have approx. 30 days to upload their completed assignments for marking. Pearson accreditation will be provided per unit, with up to 5 years to complete the full 8 unit qualification.
Delivery Methodology
The blended online programme would be delivered as follows:
- Skills4Stem online eLearning (24/7)
- Skills4Stem workbooks
- Fortnightly interactive webinars
- 90 minute 1-to-1 assignment support sessions every month (Optional)
- Unlimited support by Skills4Stem qualified lectures
Costs & Funding – Pay as you go; one unit at a time.
Each unit will involve a remote assignment to accredit the candidate with passing the unit.
- Unit 1 = £850 each
- Units 2- 21 = £700 each
Please note: Unit 1 - must be done at the end of the programme.
Every candidate must pay for the one-off HNC qualification fees in full at the beginning of the programme.
Enrolment is subject to an initial eligibility interview: interviews will be carried out remotely within 10 working days of payment.
Please note:
- All learners are required to complete a Skills4Stem registration form within 20 days, to enable completion of their registration with the awarding body.
- Learners are registered for 12 months, there is a £100 registration renewal fee for every further 12 months until the programme is completed.
